Reporting from the area on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, our reporter Rex Kobby said the young man, who is believed to be a mentally unstable person, was playing with the suspect, but at a point, the young lady asked him to stop or she would stab him.
Rex revealed that the lady was assisting the mother, who sells watermelon at a primary school in the area.
According to Rex Kobby, the suspect’s mother asked her daughter to drop the knife she was reportedly threatening to stab the young man with.
The mother, who knew the young man, wondered why her daughter did it while the two of them had been playing.
He added that within two minutes, the young man pounced on the lady and started pointing his fingers at Nna, and it was at that point that Nna allegedly stabbed him.
She allegedly stabbed him in the chest, and he bled profusely.
He was then rushed to the hospital, but could not survive.
His body has since been deposited at the Wa Hospital Mortuary, awaiting an autopsy.
Nna is currently in police custody and assisting them in their investigation.
