President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has urged the handlers of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to advise him to stop boasting in his campaign for President.
In the last couple of months, the Vice President who is the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has embarked on a nationwide tour to campaign and solicit the concerns of Ghanaians.
During that period, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia drummed home his achievements as Vice President, stressing that he has been the most successful Vice President in the fourth republic.
Speaking in Kumasi as part of his campaign tour of the Ashanti region, Dr. Bawumia said, “If you look at the work I have done as Vice President, which is the basis for which I want you to vote for me as President, I can count about 33 policy initiatives.
“There is digitalization, one constituency – one ambulance is also there, Agenda 111 is also there. So many different policies. All these policies are working well. If you take all the Vice Presidents Ghana has had, you won’t get a Vice President who has worked more than Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.”
Today, Franklin Cudjoe has admonished those handling Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his campaign to inform him that he needs to stop bragging about insignificant things compared to the economic challenges.
“l do not think his handlers are being helpful to him..They need to let him stop boasting about things that pale into insignificance when compared to the economy he so scholarly educated us on in opposition, which had died on his watch leaving millions of Ghanaians dirt poorer since 1957,” Franklin Cudjoe said in an interview on Facebook.
