A group of Traditional Priests in Ghana known as the United Fetish Priest Association has advised the vice President Cum Flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia to declare his stance on LGBTQ+ before October or forget their slogan ‘Breaking The 8’
Speaking on Plan B FM’s morning show NKOSUONSEM hosted by Obidehye Kofi Sekyi, the President of the Association Nana Mosi Bansere, said there’s no way Dr. Bawumia and his NPP can break the 8 if he fails to declare his stance before October.
“What was unfortunate is that parliament shouldn’t have deliberated on such an abominable act in the house at all because it is against our tradition, customs, and norms it is a big NO”
According to Nana Mosi, most Ghanaians including Chiefs, Imams, Pastors, and religious groups will not back him in winning the election if he fails to declare his position.
“Christians, Muslims, Ancestral spirit, River gods, Dwarfs among others spirits in Ghana are annoyed over the delayed assent to the bill by Nana Addo but Dr Bawumia”s silence on the bill is even worse as gods from his hometown will not back him if he fail to declare. So he should do so before October else Npp should forget breaking the 8″
He applauded the MPs for unanimously passing the bill and added the Association is not into politics but will not sit aloof for Ghana to be taken over by the LGBTQ+ community and vowed they will protect Ghana’s Tradition and Culture.
Nana Mosi Banseri stressed that Ghana’s economy is in jeopardy because of the LGBTQI+ activities going on in the country and it’s about time to stop this abomination from the country to ensure economic stability and freedom.
