LGBTQI+ Brouhaha: What sort of “stupidity is this”- NPP communicator fumes

LGBTQI+ Brouhaha: What sort of “stupidity is this”- NPP communicator fumes
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Tema Central Communication team member for the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP Mr. Richard Annin has stated that it is “stupidity” that will make the Western countries think they can force LGBTQI+ activities on Africans, especially in Ghana.

Making his submission on Plan B FM’s morning show NKOSUONSEM hosted by Obidehye Kofi Sekyi, Mr. Aning stressed that if not for stupidity the whites wouldn’t think LGBTQI+ is better than having two or more wives,

“Before the arrival of the whites in Africa our forefathers were having more wives which helped in procreation and they were living in peace but you people (whites) demonized it, when an African child helps his or her parents at the farm you term it as child labor meanwhile you are rather teaching your children how to manufacture and produce goods in your country. I think it’s about time we keep our stance as Ghanaians and protect cultural norms and values and not succumb to any stupidity from the Western countries because we were living peacefully with our traditions and norms before the white man came and criminalized our norms but we are not will allow this abominable act in our country, so they should keep their money, we will not die, we can plan crops and depend on it that was how we were living before they came to destroy everything we have”. He contended

He then appealed to President Akuffo Addo not to hesitate and assent to the LGBTQI+ bill reached his office.

The co-panel member from the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC at Tema Central Constituency Madam Antoinette Yevu also joined the call and pleaded with President Akuffo Addo to assent to the LGBTQI+ bill into law without any hesitation because Ghanaians are waiting for him.
