Residence of Abomosu cry over high ECG bills

Residence of Abomosu cry over high ECG bills
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Residents in Abomosu in the Atiwa West District of the Eastern Region have expressed their utmost disgust over what they described as unlawful bills by the Electricity Company of Ghana.

Speaking to one resident on Plan B FM morning show NKOSUONSEM hosted by Obidehye Kofi Sekyi, she said, they are unhappy with the
exorbitant electricity tariffs they
have been paying in recent months claim they have
submitted many complaints to the  ECG to examine the cause of the anomaly but to no effect.

She alleged that ECG officials to whom they had complained had refused to resolve their complaints.

She reiterated that several attempts to reach the ECG officials to solve their issues of overbilling have proven unfruitful. She added that the ECG keep telling them  to pay whatever they have received.

“We are appealing to the authorities to come to our aid because it is not reasonable to pay Gh50-Ghs100 worth of electricity. Sometimes we pay as much as Ghs 2000 for using a fridge and one building for a month” she added
