The Public Relations Officer for the National Teaching Council (NTC) Mr. Dennis Osei Owusu has warned the general public, especially teachers who wrote the Teacher Licensure Examination to be vigilant about fraudsters who claim to an official from NTC to help change their results for them.
Speaking on Plan BFM’s late afternoon show EBAANOSEN hosted by Ohene Kinnah, Mr. Osei Owusu stressed that, there is no way anyone can change the results for anyone because once the results are posted nothing can be done to change them.
“The issue is that the fraudsters have created similar websites to that of the NTC which will be given to victims after they have monies to these fraudsters and it would show that their results have been charged for them but who we check them on our system it will not be the correct certificate needed” he added.
He then pleaded with the teachers to exercise restraints because the date for resit would be announced soon.
Meanwhile, the National Teaching Council (NTC) has clarified that it has not made any changes to the results of the Teacher Licensure Examination.
This clarification comes in response to an announcement suggesting possible alterations from failing to pass the examination results.
In a statement, the NTC emphasized that it “has not made any changes to the examination results. The published results remain valid and any announcements suggesting alterations to the results are false, misleading, and should be treated as fraudulent.”
The NTC further advised candidates to verify information only through its official communication channels, including the official website and authorized social media accounts, to ensure they receive accurate and reliable information.
“NTC is actively investigating the source of this fraudulent announcement and appropriate legal action will be taken against those responsible,” it added.
