My people in Ashaiman constituency are knocking on my doors to rescue them- Akoda

My people in Ashaiman constituency are knocking on my doors to rescue them- Akoda

An aspiring independent candidate in the Ashaiman constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mr. Akoda has asserted that the majority of his constituents are calling him to lead the constituency and rescue them from the current state both the NPP and NDC have plugged the constituency into over the years.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s late afternoon show EBAANOSEN hosted by Ohene Kinnah, Mr. Akuda explained that, both the opposition party NDC, and the NPP have failed the constituency in infrastructure, especially in road construction in the area is nothing to write home about.

He said, he has constructed some roads in some parts of the Ashaiman and has provided boreholes for his people to access portable drinking water personally.
He claimed that he has connected many youths in the constituency to visa lottery opportunities and jobs for the people.

Mr. Akoda believes that such assistance from him has prompted many in the Ashaiman constituency to contest in this year’s parliamentary elections to lead the constituency.

“politicians have failed us, they will promise jobs and development when they want power but after giving them the power they don’t fulfill their promise with me (Akoda) as an independent candidate I can make a difference in the Ashaiman constituency”.
