Chief Inspector Morgan with the Tema Community 2 District Police Command has advised the general public, especially commercial and private drivers to be disciplined and watchful while driving on the various roads as we are prepare for, during, and after this yuletide.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s morning show NKOSUONSEM hosted Nana Yaw Abrompah, Chief Inspector Morgan schooled drivers to practice all the necessary routine checks on their vehicles before moving out.

He said, regular checking of the engine oil helps to know the state and level of your entire engine, water or a radiator tank containing water helps cool down the engine.

He stressed that break fluid and tires are the most important thing to be checked regularly because most accidents on our roads are caused by brake failure or tire burst so it is important to check them for proper maintenance and the lighting systems of the vehicles needs to be checked regularly and make sure the wiper blade needs to work properly to clear the windscreen when it becomes dusty.
