“NPP is in disarray; lacks leaders” – A Plus

“NPP is in disarray; lacks leaders” – A Plus
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Hiplife artiste and socio-political activist, Kwame A Plus has described the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a party in disarray.

According to him, the NPP at the moment lacks leaders who are highly esteemed and can call erring party members to order, a situation he contends has resulted in a lot of indiscipline in the party.

His comments follow alleged thugs affiliated with the ruling NPP that stormed the studios of Accra based UTV on Saturday, October 7, 2023, abruptly halting the live broadcast of the station’s entertainment show United Showbiz.

“The problem with the NPP at the moment is that they lack leaders, so now everyone does what they want. There’s no control in the party compared to what we witnessed during the era of former President Kuffuor where we experienced good leadership from the likes of Hackman Owusu Agyeman, Kwadwo Mpiani, Papa Owusu Ankomah among others, but that is not the case now. Everything is in tatters” he told Ohene Kinnah on Plan B FM’s ‘Ebaanosen’

He added that, there are some elders in the party now whose advice and counsel are not being heeded by the party’s top hierarchy which believes has contributed negatively to the party. He said they have absolutely no control of the party at the moment.
