The Chief of Staff and the Attorney General and Minister of Justice have been asked to clarify the work status of the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng for working from abroad.
The Special Prosecutor who was staying at the Residence of the Santa Baron Don until the completion of his house at Agbogba has been out of the country for Several weeks and months claiming to work from abroad.
Host of Good Evening Ghana Paul Adom Otchere who took note of the development has been blasting thr Special Prosecutor for spending tax-payers’ money anyhow.
According to the journalist, the Special Prosecutor has been flying around and living abroad at the state coat pretending to be working while escorted by police and other officials paid by the state.
Mr. Adom Otchere said the OSP flies from South Africa, to China to New York and other locations spanning weeks and months claiming he is working.
“AG Godfred Dame, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and Chief of Staff Frema Opare this question is for them. Why does Kissi Agyebeng live outside the country to do his work? Paul Adom Otchere asked.
“Who is paying for he and his retinue in Pretoria, in New York and in China? Why does he have Ghanaian police men and officials with him abroad? Who is paying for them! Why does he live abroad to do his work?” He asked.
“A lot of time and lot of money have been spent on the Charles Adu Boahene and a year on he (Agyebeng) is yet to release a report after the President referred the mater to him. He was not in court when Charles Bissue was in court he was not in court. What is he doing abroad for that long? These are the facts of what is happening. We have videos of him in New York with Ghanaian police men” Adom Otchere added
