Ghana’s Ambassador to Kuwait Rufai Iddi loses sons in a ghastly accident

The sons of the prominent New Patriotic Party(NPP) in the Northern Region and Ghana’s Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, Alhaji Ahmed Rufai Yahaya Iddi, have died in a ghastly accident.

Alhaji Lamin Yahaya Iddi and Alhaji Iddi Yahaya Iddi both businessmen were involved in an accident at Langbinsi in the North East Region while on their way back to Tamale after attending some meetings.

A  family source, Alhassan Sa-ad Dagbana who confirmed the demise said “It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the passing of our brothers, Alhaji Lamin Yahaya Iddi and Alhaji Afa Iddi Yahaya Iddi. The tragic incident occurred at Limgbinsi, Gambaga District, Northeast Region, on their way back from Gambaga. The bodies of our departed brothers have been transferred to the morgue at Tamale Teaching Hospital”

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who is saddened by the sudden demise wrote on his page.

“Last night, I received with profound sadness, the news of the deaths of Alhaji Lamin Yahaya Iddi and Alhaji Iddi Yahaya Iddi, both sons of the late stalwart of our party, Alhaji Chairman Yahaya Iddi.

The deceased were both prominent in the affairs of the NPP Northern Region.

I phoned Ambassador Alhaji Rufai Yahaya Iddi to condole with the Yahaya Iddi family in this difficult period.

May Allah grant them the patience to bear with the test and admit our departed brothers into Jannah”
