Loyalty: Don’t retaliate when your spouse cheats – Rev. Asenso advises couples

Anger has a positive aspect on human life when controlled – Rev Dr. Asenso

The host of Plan B FM lifestyle, family, and relationship show NYANSAPO FIE Rev. Michael Asenso has advised couples and the general public not to retaliate whenever their spouse cheat on them.

Rev. Asenso commenting on the topic of “Loyalty in marriage” explained that loyalty in marriage refers to the unwavering commitment and faithfulness of one partner to another. It involves staying faithful to your promises and commitments. A loyal spouse is honest and puts the needs and well-being of their spouse ahead of their own but sometimes temptation and situations compel them.

A relationship counselor Madam Mary Bright also said, having a partner who truly loves you, cares for you, and is committed to making the relationship work will make you happier and healthier. Not having loyalty in your relationship can set you up for disappointment and leave you feeling stressed, leading to emotional and even physical health problems.

She said a person may be loyal if they are open and honest in their communication, patient during difficult times, and defensive about the worth of their significant other. All of these traits can be helpful and important to strong and successful relationships.

“Sometimes you could see a woman being cheated on by her partner frequently but would say no because of the children am she’s not leaving the relationship, this is a clear indication that she is still committed and loyal in the relationship, sometimes others too try revenge in diverse ways” she added.
