Sicknesses have been one major problem that mankind is battling with since creation.

There are a lot of life-threatening sicknesses that have contributed to so many untimely deaths among humans that attention was not paid to them.

Speaking with Dr. Eric Amoah the director of Aid-life Herbal Research Clinic on Plan B Fm’s weekend health show dubbed “APOMUDEN FIE” on Urinary Tract Infection (U.T.I), he explained that UTI could lead to many sicknesses in the human body if it is not attended to properly.

He stressed that the many factors that contribute are lack of fluid intake, holding urine, poor personal hygiene, pregnancy, presence of underlying medical conditions such as diabetes, renal stones, and prostatitis.
He added that sexual intercourse can increase the risk of UTIs in women because bacteria from the vagina may enter the urethra and cause the infection.
“Men and women who often masturbate are very vulnerable to getting U.T.I.

To prevent UTI Dr. Eric Amoah explained that Drinking plenty of water, at least 2.5 liters per day, not holding urine, uinating after sexual intercourse, proper personal hygiene, and wiping from front to back after urinating or bowel movement.

Lastly, Dr. Amoah advised the general public to go for regular check-ups to know their status.
