Some irate Youths in Teshie in the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly of the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday morning took to the street of Teshie and its environs to demonstrate to register their displeasure to the government over bad roads in their area.

Speaking to Stephen, who was at the scene of the demonstrators on Plan B FM’s morning show NKOSUONSEM with Nana Yaw Abrompah, said the youth have blocked most of the roads leading to leading to Kofi Annan to Lekma, Teshie to Tsuibleoo, and other roads to some places in the area and it has brought uneasiness to motorists and passengers as a result the road blockage.

He said that “Several people have lost their lives, no markings, streetlights, security checks on the road. A hydrant has protruded out of the road and people crash into it. If you come to the main road in front of the barracks, there’s no streetlight and cars keep knocking people down every time”
