Marijuana Cultivation: Seek experts opinion before you pronounce Judgement – CAL

Marijuana Cultivation: Seek experts opinion before you pronounce Judgement – CAL
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The recent Supreme Court rulings on the cultivation of marijuana “wee” has raised many concerns from experts.

The Director of the Centre for Agro Liberty Dr. Ernest Abiam has said that it will be helpful if sometimes the supreme court would seek expert opinions before they pronounce their judgment on issues that could benefit the country in the long run.

Dr. Abiam made this known on Plan B FM morning show ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ when he was speaking to Nana Yaw Abrompah.

He stressed that western countries are earning huge money from marijuana cultivation which he believes will also help the country to earn more income because the price of marijuana is higher than cocoa.

“Let’s do away with emotions and personal sentiments aside when it comes to issues like this, smoking of marijuana is a result of failure by the regulators and law enforcement agencies. If the use of marijuana is illegal, then they should go to the pharmacy shops, cosmetic shops, and hairdressers, and arrest the sellers and the producers of all products that contain content of marijuana because the law forbids it use in the country. Smoking of marijuana is about 0.001, let’s consider it’s industrial, economic and medicinal benefits”. He explained.
