GIHOC Board appoints interim management committee

A memo sighted from GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited which has set up a management committee to handle the day-to-day running of the State-owned Enterprise (SOE).

The decision as contained in the memo was taken by the board in anticipation of Mr.Maxwell Kofi Jumah’s return from sick leave.

Lawyer Annette Obenewaa Adutwum, Hon Richmond Sam Quarm and Mr. Damiel Odame according to the Memo will act as Chairperson, Vice Chairman and Member respectively of the three-member management committee in the absence of the Managing Director

The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti Region, appears very sick and not his usual bobbly and weighted self.

It would be recalled that MyNewsGh.com broke the news of the physical changes of the GIHOC Boss when he was seen at a Dr. Bawumia campaign group activities.

Mr. Jumah was also one time Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive(MCE)

He is also an in-law of the sitting President Nana Addo as his son wedded the president’s daughter in a lavish private marriage ceremony.
