Learn to say sorry to keep your relationship moving – Counselor advises

Learning how to say sorry or apologize is essential to maintain healthy relationships and marriages, Conflict and making mistakes are inevitable in our daily lives, relationships, and marriages knowing that we will eventually hurt ourselves, so we must also know how to apologize.

If you find yourself in a situation that calls for an apology, follow these steps to say sorry.

Speaking on NYANSAPO Fie on Plan B FM, guest counselors advised that apologizing or saying sorry whenever one admits that he/she is at fault in a relationship, marriage or friendship renews the trust for the two parties for a healthy relationship.

They said, to seek ways to repair and restore the relationship and look to make changes, not only should you tell the person that you’re sorry, but follow up by demonstrating that it won’t happen again.

None of us are perfect and we are guaranteed to fail again in some way, but explain how you plan to make changes that will stop you from repeating this mistake,

“if you’re chronically late, promise to change your habits by leaving home earlier”. they stressed
