Is Dr. Amoako Baah in media hibernation or has been gagged?

Booing incident: Akufo-Addo must reassess his popularity – Amoako Baah
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Vocal Political Scientist and politician Dr. Richard Amoako Baah, who is very popular as a resource for a number of media houses in the country, seems to have gone silent for some time.

It is unsure what has forced him into hiding or if he has been gagged to speak.

He is a known critic of the Nana Addo-led New Patriotic Party (NPP) and administration even though he was one time a diehard campaigner for the President who he supported to get elected into power in 2017.

MyNewsGhcom can confirm his weekly on-air program What’s Going On, on Kumasi-based Ultimate 106.9 FM has been off air for some time now.

Management of the radio station has not also communicated what the reasons are for the break in the program, which has forced lovers of the program which focuses on current happening locally and globally to ask questions if the talkative politician cum political scientist is being bullied or made to keep mute over the poor leadership of Nana Addo a man he was willing to defend to get in power but has since fallen out with.

MyNewsGh.com is also learning that he has also been removed from some boards he occupied as a member forcing all kinds of speculation.

Dr. Baah who once lectured in KNUST was in a similar vein off the lecturing scene, with speculations he had been fired; others suggested his services were not renewed when he meddled in NPP politics.

We will keep readers updated on this development.
