Tema-Aflao road to experience two-day disruptions for GRIDCo works

Parts Of Accra To Experience Power Outages Over Planned Maintenance Works

The Ministry of Roads and Highways and the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) on behalf of the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) is announcing for the information of the general public, especially users of the Accra-Aflao road, that there will be some disruptions to traffic for two days.

“This is to enable GRIDCo undertake the stringing of Transmission Line conductors across the N1 Highway,” the Authority said in a public announcement dated Thursday, January 26.

The operation will see road diversions on Sunday, January 29 and Sunday, February 5.

The section of the road to be affected is around the Goil Filling Station at Larkpleku near Tsopoli.

“The traffic disruption across the above-mentioned section of the N1 will occur between 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs each day with intermittent disruptions each lasting no more 30 minutes,” the announcement said.

“Traffic flow will be affected, therefore, motorists are kindly advised to follow traffic diversion signs to be placed at the various sections on the N1.”
