I established John Evan Atta Mills surgical block with 2.5 million compared to 339 million on a Cathedral – Okudzeto Ablakwa

Member of parliament for North Tongu, constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has touted what he has his achieved with his donor support compared to how much the government has spent on the National Cathedral.

In a tweet sighted by Plan B News. He said

“What my donors and I achieved in establishing the John Evans Atta Mills Surgical Block with GHS2.5million versus what the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia/Ofori-Atta government has achieved with GHS339million in building a cathedral”

 The lawmaker commissioned  a surgical block at a polyclinic in his district that was named after former president John Evans Fiifi Atta-Mills.

The amount of money that has been spent on building the National Cathedral so far has been a source of debate.

It is said that work on the project, which is expected to cost $340 million, has already stopped because there aren’t enough funds. Workers have stopped doing things on the site.
