It was a very massive and a colorful sunday morning as the indigens and natives of Asamankese in the lower west Akyem Municipality in the Eastern Region trooped in from their various homes to the principal streets to join the chief of Asamankese Osabarimah Adu Darko III and his elders in a health walk in the second day of the Obuodwan festival.

The walk which was dominated massively by the youth in Asamankese township started from Asamankese place 5:30 am sunday morning through to the streets of Asamankese and Asuokaw about 10 kilomettres from Asamankese.

The theme for this year’s Obuodwan festival is “Youth empowerment the key to the oboudwan development agenda”.
