Asamankese: Police Rescue Couple From Lynching Over ‘Alleged’ Murder

Fear gripped residents of Abeka near the Apostolic Church in Accra upon hearing that a young lady who got married ten days ago has been murdered in cold blood in her husband’s room yesterday evening. Reports indicate that the deceased’s husband returned from work and found his wife lying in a pool of blood with multiple wounds on her body and a knife lying beside her. The man rushed to the Police station to lodge a complaint after which the body was conveyed by the police for further investigation.
