Labianca Saga: GRA Queries Staff For Granting Media Interview Without Approval

The Acting Head of Human Resources at Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Mrs Akua Mpiani-Brobbe, has issued a query letter to one of the Authority’s staff by the name Mr Gift Emmanuel Tsamah of the Customs Division for appearing on ‘The Probe’ media discussion programme on Accra-based Joy FM without approval.

According to the query letter dated August 16, 2022, and copied to the Assistant Commissioner –CPA and Assistant Commissioner –CTSB, Mr Tsamah must explained why he broke the code of ethics of the orgnaisation to grant media interview without approval.

Mr Tsamah spoke to the news outlet on the ongoing Labianca case involving a member of the council of state who is the owner of the company, and top officers of the customs division over alleged corrupt practices involving some taxes meant to be paid to the state.
