Danish police said “several” people were injured during a shooting Sunday afternoon at a large shopping center in Copenhagen.
Copenhagen police wrote on Twitter that a large police reinforcement had been sent to the vicinity of the “Fields” shopping center in the Maa district, located between the city center and the capital’s airport.
They were able to arrest the suspect.
More than a hundred people rushed outside the mall when the shots were first fired, according to Danish media, quoting witnesses.
Police called on those inside the building to wait for their entry and others to stay away from the area.
