The Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) of the University of Ghana, has urged the government to reintroduce the road toll system as part of its fiscal consolidation measures.

It said the tollbooths should be reinstated with an efficient electronic-pass system to address congestion on some parts of the country’s roads.

In Authority of this Bohyeba Afriyie had an eloquent interview with Nicheren Appiah Bodi, a  Social commentator on plan B Fm’s Ebanoosen and he stated that bringing back toll booth levy will do us more good than harm.

He went on to defend that bringing back toll booth will cost nothing because we already have the infrastructure for it but it will rather be a source of Revenue to the Government and Also people with disability will get their jobs back.

He concluded that the Government should consider it As one of the solution to help break the economic challenges.
