A stalwart of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Presidential staffer, Newton-Offei Justice Abeeku, has called for the resignation of Minister for Energy, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, if he’s “tired” on the job.

Mr. Abeeku also placed similar call on all Chief Executive Officers of agencies that operate under the auspices of the energy ministry.

In a social media post sighted by GhanaVanguard.com, the presidential staffer wrote; “If energy minister and CEOs of his affiliate agencies are tired, they should bow out.”

It is however, not yet known the reason(s) behind Mr. Abeeku’s post, as he did not make any further comments relating to his post.
