The leadership of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) says it would ensure all teachers receive their laptops as promised by the government.
The 1 Teacher, 1 Laptop policy initiated by the previous administration of GNAT is being championed by the government to ensure all teachers own laptops to enhance ICT literacy in schools.
The General Secretary of GNAT, Thomas Musah, during a tour of the Volta and Oti Regions revealed that the distribution of laptops to teachers in junior high schools has begun nationwide.
Mr Albert Amoah General secretary for For All teachers Aliance Ghana in an interview with Bohyeba Afriyie on Plan B FM threw out some allegations to GNAT for the one teachers One laptop Update.
He said that the national Association of teachers have proven beyond doubt that they are not for their members good but for the Government.
He said that the one teacher one laptop was initiated to just deny teachers their full Allowances because all the region Mr Musa mentioned are yet to take delivery of their laptops.
He also said they are working on an official petition letter to NLC and they need About 1000 signatures of teachers to make it official and he promised they will fight for their right is teachers.
