The Industrial and Commercial Workers Union says it will engage its members at Textiles Ghana Limited to allow their Managing Director (MD) to return to office after she was locked out of her office.
The workers have been agitating for the removal of the company’s MD from office in the past weeks, and have since prevented her from entering the premises of the company on two occasions.
Mr John Ackon secretary for union workers speaking to PlanB Fm’s Bohyeba Afriyie on Ebanoosen stated that engaging them will not solve their problem and will not stop them from preventing the managing Director from entering the work premises all they want is a new MD.
He said that they have fought so much for the Growth of the Ghana Textiles limited and will not sit down unconcern to see it collapse.
He indicated that they have worked with a lot of people and it’s only this MD who is giving them these problems and as good subordinates they address it but she does not pay attention to them
He concluded that all they want is a new managing director but they are still producing their beautiful Textiles.
