The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has revealed that if the House doesn’t take certain decisions, the government may not be able to pay salaries for the next months.

Before his closing remarks for the Parliament sitting on Thursday, February 24, 2022, Speaker Alban Bagbin surprisingly revealed that based on the information at his disposal, the government of this country may not be able to generate money to pay the next three months’ salaries and so he’s calling on the House to do something to prevent that.

” Honorable Members, the information at my disposal, this is not to discourage the committee from doing their work but if something is not done within the next three months, the government may not be able to pay salaries so we have to take leadership and do. a lot of things.” The Speaker said today, February 24, 2022, in Parliament.
