GTP Workers Demonstrate Against Mismanagement; Want MD Removed

Some concerned workers of the Ghana Textile Printing (GTP), is appealing to authorities to remove it Managing Director for allegedly mismanaging the place.

 Secretary of the Workers Union, who spoke to Plan B news on condition of anonymity stated that, the current Managing Director has failed to make decisions that would make the company viable.  And all attempts to call her  to order has proven futile.

They further stated that since her appointment in September 20221, she has made terrible decisions that has crippled the company.

They also accused her of mismanagement, illegal appointments,  engaging in botched deals to enrich herself at the expense of the workers and the company and has halted the  payment of retirement benefits to the former Managing Director.

They are calling on government to intervene to ensure the progress of the company.
