My Life Is At Stake – Gyaasehene Of Kwahu Nkwatia Cries To The IGP After He Was Attacked

Some unknown persons have attacked the Gyaasehene of Kwahu Nkwatia in the night and burnt down his car. Nana Agyekum Benofo II recounting his ordeal said that since their chief died six years ago, the town especially himself has known no peace.

Chieftaincy issues from two sides have risen in the town since the chief’s demise. Due to this, Nana Agyekum Benefo II had to relocate from Kwaku Nkwatia to Kwahu Mpraeso to save himself from being.

Even with that, he was still attacked. Whiles, he was living in Nkwatia, his car was burnt by some unknown persons and that forced his decision to flee from the town. Thinking he was safe, Nana has been attacked again and a new car which he had gone to buy has also been set on fire.

Nana said when he closed from work, he realized that he was being followed so he increased the speed sign which he was driving and went to his new residence.

At night, a taxi driver living in the same house with him called him that his car was on fire. Nana Agyekum said he has reported the case to the Police and even to the IGP that his life is at stake.
