Dr Japhet Baidoo, the Western Regional Organiser for the opposition National Democratic Party (NDC) is reported dead.
The sad event, according to Mr Kirk Mensah, the Communications Officer of the Party, occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency read, “It is sad to inform the party and General public about the sudden demise of the Western Regional Organizer, Comrade Dr. Japhet Baidoo…This sad event occurred in the early hours of Wednesday 16th February 2022, and we will give more details soon”.
The deceased comrade served the party in various capacities and became the Regional NADMO Coordinator in former President John Mahama’s administration.
“Funeral arrangements would be announced later,” the statement indicated.
