Mortuary Caught Fire In Benue, Corpses Burnt Beyond Recognition

Deposited corpses were burnt beyond recognition as fire guts a mortuary in Benue state today, February 11.

It was gathered that the mortuary situated in Agagbe settlement, Gwer West LG of the State reportedly caught fire, burning deposited corpses beyond recognition.

An eyewitness said the people of the area who arrived the scene shortly after the incident quickly assisted in putting the fire off.

Salemgists learnt that the mortuary is own by a Catholic church, St Francis Xavier Parish Agagbe.

As of the time of this report, the cause of the fire outbreak has not been known.
