Vice President Bawumia Jets Off To US For UN Security Council Meeting

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia departed Ghana To represents  President Akufo-Addo At the UN Security Council Meeting in the United States of America.

Preceding to hold meetings with senior officials of the United Nations (UN), Dr Bawumia will give a lecture during the Open Debate of the UN Security Council, in which Ghana was recently elected as a non-permanent member.

The Vice-President is also expected to hold discussions in Washington DC with the US Assistant Secretary of State for Africa, Ms Molly Phee on strengthening the co-operation between the two countries on issues of mutual interest.

In Authority of the statement released,  The Vice President will return to the country on Friday, January 28, 2022.
