Gomoa Nyanyano: Block Factory Burned Down By Arsonists

A block factory built at Gomoa Nyanyano, a town not very far from Kasoa in the Central Region, has been burned down by suspected arsonists, who were said to be carrying guns.

One person is now being held by the police over the incident.

These gun-wielding arsonists reportedly scaled the wall of the factory and roughed up the security man.

The security man fearing for his life, fled the place by jumping over the wall. The incident is said to have happened at dawn – at about 0300 hours, today, Saturday, January 1, 2022.

He spoke of how they had even attempted to set him ablaze. The arson – burning down of the factory happened at a time, its owner, Mohammed Salifu, was being held in police custody over a bitter land dispute.
