Peterkin Kodua, an elder and a steward with the Church of Methodist, Nkasiem, has been arrested for beating his daughter to death. Peterkin after his arrest this morning at the Nkasiem Community Clinic broke down in tears and wept over his loss. It was not intentional, I meant no harm. I was doing what every father will do to protect his child, the society steward for the Nkasiem John Wesley Methodist Church cried before he was taken away by the police.

Grace was rushed to the Nkasiem Community Health Clinic but she could not make it as she was confirmed dead this morning at Four. PA Rahim Kwanen in breaking the news to the family, counselled them to be strong as he first reported to the police before announcing to the family.
I had to wait for the police to arrive before breaking the news to them. The police needed to act on the death and the family needed to be consoled at the same time. Breaking the news first to the family without the presence of the police would have broken my medical code of ethics as a crime has been committed.
Whether it will be prosecuted or not, will be the work of the police, Physician Assistant Rahim Kwanen defended his actions after causing the arrest of the grieving father. The grieving father, Peterkin Kodua, had tried to discipline his daughter for coming home late, but little did he know it will end him into trouble; mourning his daughter and jail.
Nkasiem police are on the case as Peterkin assist with investigations.
