We Will Fight With The Last Drop Of Our Blood Over Salary Deduction – All Teachers Alliance

We Will Fight With The Last Drop Of Our Blood Over Salary Deduction – All Teachers Alliance
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Government is taking the work of teachers for granted Mr. Albert Amoah General Secretary for All Teachers Alliance  replies Mr. Yaw Adutwum, Education Minister during an interview on Plan B FM’s Ebaanosen .

The Education Minister in an interview indicated that the the one teacher one laptop initiative had played a critical role in enhancing the efficiency of teachers.

He also stated that those who had criticized the initiative were only seeking to score cheap political point.

In response to this, the General Secretary for All Teachers Alliance Mr.  Albert Amoah stated that the initiative indeed would have been a very good one if critical planning and thinking went in to it

He said that the Government has proven so far that teachers are the least they care about.

He went ahead to say that they are very much disappointed about the most recent deduction of ₵559 from their salary because they filed a suit in court which is still in process about this same issue but the government still went ahead to deduct money from their last month salary and that even means the Government has no respect for the laws of the land and them as well and that is the reason for them demonstrating on December 15, 2021.

He said they are disappointed in GES because they have deliberately decided to pay death ears to their grievances

And also very much disappointed in Teachers Union, he stated that instead of the union representing them they are always defending the decisions of the Government

In conclusion, he stated that they will fight with the last drop of their blood to stop Government from deducting money from their monthly salary.
