The Executive Manager Of Trinity Lutheran School, Tema Community 2, Mrs Emma Akofa Dzokoto has encouraged candidates of the just ended Basic School Certificate Examination (BECE ) to reciprocate the effort made by their parents with respect the level of education given by becoming responsible adults.
She advised the graduands to take education serious so they could contribute effectively to the nation’s development.
Mrs Dzokoto made this call when she addressed graduands at the 10th Graduation Ceremony of the Trinity Lutheran School in Tema Community 1 on Saturday , December 11, 2021.
She advised the students to take positive attitude as they enter Senior High School in the next academic year adding that doing so will ultimately get them to where they hope to be in their adults lives.
She continued that the basic education the students have received will equip them as they climb the ladder of education.
She pointed out that they must understand that to have acquired the education they could boast of meant that their parents made a lot of sacrifices to get them here.
Continuing she explained it is the reason they must work hard to repose the confidence their parents have in them.
She stressed that as they enter the senior High school the should rember that character is best revealed in the action of the unguided moment .
She told them “Watch your taught , they become words , watch your words they become actions , watch your actions they become habits , watch your habit they become character , watch your character they become your destiny.”
She reiterated that, they should abstain from social vices that could jeopadise their future . She urged them to respect their teachers to boost their morale to teach them wholeheartedly to enable them to achieve aims and dreams in education .
Meanwhile , she has called on parents and guardians to accord teachers their due respect and support in the training of their children and wards.
