ActioAid Ghana applauded the Ghana Police Service for taking swift actions to ensure the law is enforced.
A Police Officer identified as Gen. Lance Corporal Victor Antwi Yeboah of the Bono Region Command was seen in a viral video allegedly harassing a female occupant of a vehicle.
He was subsequently arrested by the Police Service assisting with investigations.
In a statement released by ActionAid and sighted by Plan B News said it has been keenly following proceedings on the alleged sexual harassment case involving the police officer and wishes to commend the Ghana Police Service for taking swift actions to ensure the law is enforced and safety of Ghanaians especially women is protected.
