Black Stars Head Coach Milovan Rajevac says the team will give off their best to ensure they secure qualification to the 2022 World Cup to be hosted by Qatar.
Ghana will take on Ethiopia on Thursday, November 12, 2021 in South Africa before turning their attention to South Africa on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The Black Stars trail the Bafana Bafana of South Africa by a point in Group G with 9 points and will need to win both games in order to advance to the final round of qualifiers.
Ahead of the game, the Serbian trainer said the team is doing its best to win the next set of games to boost their chances of making to Qatar 2022.
“We really hope to qualify for the World Cup. This is our agenda and every person here, everyone in the football association, technical team and the players are all working towards the same thing,” he said.
“If we qualify for the World Cup, I will be the happiest man on earth. Definitely we will all give our best to make that happen because we cannot predict the future. We are doing everything in our own power to win the next matches. This is our goal and we do our best to make it happen.”
The Group G encounter between the Black Stars and the Walia Ibex will take place at the Orlando stadium on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 13:00Hrs GMT before playing South Africa three days later at 19:00 GMT in Cape Coast
