Two robbers have been beaten brutally to a pulp and the police had to struggle their way through saving them from being lynched to death.
Have you wondered why there are no mercies on the streets for these street boys doing these things? It’s as a result of the unavailability of jobs and means to make ends meet.
Any robber that finds himself in the grip of angry youth in this current government will definitely have a taste of some physical assault and that’s something we should try and avoid.
As we advise the public and youth not to take matters into their own hands, we also entreat persons with the urge to rob to desist from it in order to avoid forcing the hands of angry youth.
Today at Ashomang, two thieves were brutally beaten to the extent that the police had to fight their way through saving these two.
They robbed a store around Ashomang bus stop according to reports and were chased by abled men who decided to prevent them from going scot free.
The country is drowning in a pool of robbery and the citizens are the only eyes of the police as it stands. Victims of this robbery say one man pointed a miniature form of a gun to her.
They thought it was a fake gun but no one tried to play hero because they have been advised by police not to mistaken any weapon as fake.
They listened to the instructions of the robbers and handed over their phones, a laptop and sales for the day. They immediately reported after they took off and were chased down by the youth with some taxi and okada drivers helping.
Ashomang police have them in custody after they stormed the crime scene to rescue the two. According to the police, the young men wouldn’t have survived without their intervention.
This hence serves as an advice for people to desist from these robberies that are becoming so rampant that they are giving people no choice when they catch the suspects.
