Bolgatanga GBA Conference: “We will Proceed To Court If It Becomes Critical” – Hotel Mananger To AG Lawyers

Bolgatanga GBA Conference: “We will Proceed To Court If It Becomes Critical” – Hotel Mananger To AG Lawyers

The hotel manager of A-Z Lodge, Mr. Abdallah Jonathan Salifu says his outfit will have no option than to head to court to demand for their monies for the service rendered to the Attorney General’s Lawyers during the 2020/21 Ghana Bar Association Conference held in September this year.

Some lawyers who were part of the conference lodged into the hotel rooms in the name of the AG’s office, used the facilities but never paid.

Speaking on Plan B FM ‘Ebaanosen’ with Bohyeba Afriyie, Mr. Abdallah urged the lawyers to pay the monies; else they will resort to the law courts.

“First of all we are pleading with the office of the Attorney General to pay us our money and what is due us. As democratic as we are, when that fails, the association will organize a press conference, and if that fails, of course the legal channels are there. They are Lawyers, they should understand. We will proceed to court,” he stated.

Meanwhile, one of the local organizers of the Ghana Bar Association conference in Bolgatanga, Jalaadeen Abdullai has asked the hotel managers to stay calm and allow the association to probe the issue further.
