Trotro driver reportedly arrested for peeing on major road in Accra

A commercial minibus driver is in the grips of the police for peeing on a major road in the capital, Accra.

According to reports, the trotro driver Richmond Tetteh stopped his Sprinter bus with registration number GX 31119 -16, got off and peed on the side of the Legon-Pantang road.

He has been reportedly arrested for the illegal act especially peeing at an undesignated place.

The advent of drivers, passengers and pedestrians peeing on the side of the road in Ghana is a common phenomenon but it appears the new police regime will not condone any form of illegality that poses a nuisance to the entire society.

A Mercedes Benz driver was also arrested over the weekend after he was seen jumping the traffic and driving recklessly. This ties into the arrest of Shatta Wale and Medikal for misdemeanour within the last week.
