ECG Power Outages: Some Parts of Accra to Experience Power Cut Today

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that some parts of Accra will experience power outages today, Monday, October 25, 2021.

According to a flier which has gone viral, the expected power outages is to enable the ECG undertake some planned maintenance works which are aimed at improving service delivery to its customers.

The planned maintenance works which as a result, the power outages will occur is expected to last between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Areas in Accra that are expected to be hit by the power outages include Bawaleshie, Mallam, Saasabi, Oyibi, Awoshie and Apollonia. The rest are Glefe, Gbegbeyise, Kordiabe, Aburi, Wiaboman, Kokroko, Abasie and its environs.

The flier also mentioned that the ECG has apologises for any inconvenience the planned maintenance may cause its customers. “ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise,” part of the flier read.
