Prioritize Policies To Aid Accelerated Growth – Political Parties Told

Political Analyst, Samuel Boateng has underscored the need for Ghanaians to change the national conversation to compel politicians to push for smart policies for accelerated growth.

President Akufo-Addo speaking at the centenary celebration of the Ash Town Seventh Day Adventist Church, on Saturday, 16th October 2021, told the gathering that his policies and programmes initiated by his government, since taking office in January 2017, are bearing fruit and have impacted the lives of all Ghanaians.

But speaking on Plan B FM ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ with Ohene Addo, he said political Parties have proffered a myriad of policies to Ghanaians but faces challenges with it implementation to improve the living standards of Ghanaians.

“We are not looking at good or bad policies that have been done already; but we rather need smarter and good policies and not mediocre policies for the country’s rapid growth. They always seem to have good policies on paper, but faces challenges with it implementation. I urged the country’s politicians to come out with good and smart policies to address the issue of unemployment and improve on the living standards of the citizenry,” he stated.
