Ghanaian boxer Joshua Clottey has taken colleague boxer Bukom Banku to the cleaners describing him as a boxer who lacks wisdom.
He was reacting to claims by Bukom Banku that boxing punches have shifted his brain hence the reason he goes berserk sometimes.
Banku, in a recent interview, noted that his boxing career had destroyed his mental faculty.
He emphasized that anyone who is in a boxing career has a damaged brain one way or the other because of the hard punches they receive from their competitors during a fight in the ring.
But reacting to the issue Joshua Clottey said in an interview monitored by Plan B FM the boxer lacks common sense, and for that reason, he is not getting any internal bouts.
He said Bukom Banu would never get any promotor to invest in his career. To him, this is denigrating the boxing profession.
”That is the reason why Bukom Bank is not making money from boxing. He talks anyhow. He lacks wisdom. He has to speak with wisdom, so he would get money. You are a boxer, and you are denigrating it. That is senseless, and God will not bless you for saying this. Every boxer is a warrior. But he has denigrated the profession, and because of that, he will never make money from boxing, he added.
”Banku is not serious. He is a personality who is well known but he lacks wisdom and speaks anyhow. He has to change his mindset so he can make money,” he added.
