Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu Presents 2021 Budget In Parliament

Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, the Member of Parliament (MP) of Suame Constituency who doubles as the majority leader in parliament today, Friday, March 12, 2021 read the 2021 budget and economic policy for the year on behalf of Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta who is currently in the United States receiving medical care.

This follows a decision made by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to pave way for the Suame MP who is also the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs to present the budget on behalf of the government.

Presenting the 2021 Budget and economic policies of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu highlighted some many areas of the economy and how the government intends to improve the livelihood of Ghanaians with its policies. He also highlighted the impact of COVID-19 on the Ghanaian economy and how the country plans to bounce back post coronavirus era, state of roads, aviation, etc.
