Akyem Takyiman Chiefs Laud Nana Addo For Fulfilling Promises

The chiefs and the people of Akyem Takyiman in the Kwaebibirim municipality have commended president Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo for what they say is fulfilment of president’s promises to them.

Speaking to a section of the media, the chief of Akyem Takyiman, Osabarima Osei Boakye II lauded the president for fixing their roads in the area. According to him prior to the fixing of the roads, a lot of residents in the area especially motorists complained about the poor nature of the roads which made their usage difficult.

Continuing the Chief added that the roads were not only dusty but so bad that people who were buying their food produce from the area stopped with a lot of the produce left to rot in their farms.

“This is because, vehicles are not able to ply the road to our farms”, he remarked.

Osabarima Boakye II also noted that the situation was unbearable and it factored the increase of robbery on their roads at night because vehicles were compelled to drive slowly to avoid breaking down during their trips.

He stated that he has confidence in the president and is of the opinion that very soon other poor roads would be fixed in line with the president’s promise.

Other residents who also spoke to the media were full of praise for President Akufo-Addo as well as then minister of roads, o some of the residents in the community, they shower praise on the road minister Mr Amoako Atta and the president Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo.
