The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), has cautioned the public to desist from investing and patronising Chy Mall. A statement issued by Madam Faustina Lartey, Head of Public Affairs of EOCO, for the Executive Director of EOCO, that has been sighted by Plan B FM, said EOCO since the middle of last year, was monitoring the activities of a Chinese Company called Chy Century Heng Yue Group Limited/Sairui E-Commence Ghana Limited.

According to EOCO, it had been monitoring the company since the middle of 2020 and has concluded it is a Ponzi scheme.

In a statement sighted by Plan B FM it read, “The company which is registered as online trading and marketing services also solicits and takes/receives funds through investment packages from its customers with a promise of guaranteed returns/margins of various percentages over a fixed short period of time.”

EOCO then disclosed that the company operates a Ponzi or Pyramid scheme and the general public is cautioned to desist from investing and patronizing Chy Mall adding that anyone who transacts business with them does so at their own risk.

Concluding the statement, EOCO added that the company is operating illegally and is neither registered by the Bank of Ghana (BoG) or the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
