National Security Coordinator, Joshua Kyeremeh Dies Of COVID

Information reaching Plan-B FM has it that National Security Coordinator, Joshua Kyeremeh has died at the Ga East Municipal hospital while receiving treatment for what a source say is COVID.

According to a Plan-B FM source at the hospital, Mr. Kyeremeh died today, Monday, January 18, 2020 after he was admitted at the medical facility to seek treatment for the deadly Coronavirus.

The source further pointed out that the National Security boss is believed to have died from COVID due to an underlining issue; a kidney complications.

The late National Security boss got appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2017 as part the president’s first set of appointees during his first term.

Prior to his appointment as the National Security boss by the president, the late Mr. Kyeremeh worked as a Director of National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), formerly known as the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI). He is said to have worked for well over 22 years with NIB where he served at the Command at various levels in the Northern, Upper East, Ashanti, and the Greater Accra regions.

He reportedly served as the head of the Investigations Unit of the Bureau, where he is said to have gone through the ranks to become the Deputy Director and ultimately, the Director from 2005 to 2009.
